"There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature—the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter."

My Story

Once upon another life, I worked in Law on behalf of asbestos victims and those suffering from occupational stress and PTSD, but I have always been a gardener. Nature and flowers were forever a refuge, and it was to those things that I returned when I wanted to escape the every day.

I also saw how being in their own green spaces became comforting to clients suffering from terminal pain and psychological illness.

Nature and their gardens held them.

These days, British seasonal flowers settle my mind, and nurture my body and soul. The therapeutic benefits of 'breathing in the green', as I call it, have been well known for many years.  As testament to all my clients taught me, I made this my business aim.  My wild remedy is dedicated to them.  It is for me, and also for you.

I am a second career, qualified, British seasonal florist and small time grower. You can read more about my ethos here.

I am a member of Flowers from the Farm; an award-winning, not-for-profit, co-operative of British

cut flower growers. You can read more about us here

I am a passionate advocate of social and therapeutic horticulture.  You will, therefore, occasionally find me at Samlesbury Hall, supporting the creation of The Heritage Garden, and at Brinscall Hall; the North West branch of the UK School of Philosophy, in their own beautiful green space for wellbeing.

I also offer seasonal workshops that allow you to explore the 'wild remedy' that is floral creativity for wellness.  Please take a look at my journal here for announcements or see the link here

Mindfully yours, Tracey @themindfulseasonalist

Seasonal Wreaths

Available to pre-order

It's always wreath season here!

I'm crafting seasonal door wreaths all year round; the featured example is Winter.  Each is unique, with a mossed base and varied, natural foliage. I may add dried flowers, Spring bulbs (in season) and so much more as the mood takes me. Ribbons finish each design, if you'd like.

Please contact me to order your seasonal wreath.  A 14" frame is standard at around £40, and I offer local delivery or collection from Hoghton each season.

Thank you so much for your orders, and for supporting my small business.
