Dear Friends

I'm whispering..., but please know that I'm turning my attention to the annual tradition of winter gatherings for my wreathing tribe, both old and new. It's time ...

I have two dates at Brinscall Hall again for winter wreath making; Sunday 22 November, and Sunday 6th December starting at 10.30am for a couple of hours and then a warming lunch, some equally warming conversation and our own good company.

Will you join me?

We'll start the morning with mulled wine, or a soft drink if you prefer, and seasonal treats. Once we've settled in, we'll create our winter door wreaths with the best of British foliage. You can expect pine cones, the scent of Conifer, Spruce and Fir, hedgerow finds, berries, feathers from passing pheasants, cinnamon, spice and all things nice, After our creative endeavour, we'll enjoy a light yet warm vegetarian lunch.

As many of you know, Brinscall Hall is home to the North West School of Practical Philosophy and is to be found at the end of Dick Lane, Brinscall, near Chorley, PR6 8QL. It is a calm and safe space with good parking and a warm welcome.

The cost per person (adults only) is £65 and there is a maximum number of 8 per class for our mutual comfort. All refreshments and equipment are included.

If you are booked onto my Autumn wreath class, the cost to you is £60 providing you return your cleaned Autumn willow wreath frame to this winter session. (At the time of writing, there are still a couple of places available for Autumn wreathing on 20th September if you'd like to come. Please be in touch).

Beginners are welcome in my classes.

Mechanics are always sustainable/compostable.

My tutoring style is one of gentle guidance and I encourage intuitive creativity.

The pace is slow, the music soft.

(I often say that this is the calm before the magical madness that follows!)

All bookings are on a first come/first secured basis, and then upon payment of the appropriate sum. When you get in touch, I will send bank details to you for payment transfer and confirmation of your reserved space. Please note that I'm unable to offer refunds if you're later unavailable to attend, but I do allow someone else to attend in your place by prior agreement.
