Hello all

We're in mid September and Autumn has properly arrived, hasn't it? The nights are drawing in, and there's a little chill to the air. We have circled around again to the time of year when thoughts turn to decorating our doors, dressing in our thicker jumpers and hunkering down. Some of you may have been foraging for fruits to make jams and preserves, chutneys or other seasonal delights, and given how quickly time is moving on, I'm inviting first bookings for Winter wreath workshops later in the year.

My workshop dates this year are both at Brinscall Hall, home to the North West School of Practical Philosophy in Brinscall, near Chorley, PR6 8QL. The first gathering is on Saturday 22 November (NOW FULLY BOOKED, THANK YOU) and the second is on Saturday 6 December (4 SPACES REMAIN) . Both workshops start around 10.30am with a glass of mulled wine to warm us, and we finish around 1.30pm when we'll enjoy a light lunch after all our wreathing endeavour.

There will be seasonally British grown foliage, pine cones, hedgerow finds, twiggery, pokery, feathers from passing pheasants, winter spice and all things nice, and, so, I really hope you might join me.

The investment remains as in previous years at £65 per person, with some concessions on my part, although not in terms of foliage or food! Rest assured, all the scents of the winter season will surround us.

There is a maximum number of 8 per class for ease of conversation and comfort, and beginners are most welcome. There is always gentle guided tuition, and a morning of creativity and connection with new friends.

If this sounds of interest to you, please be in touch either by email to contactme@themindfulseasonalist.com or direct message on 07973 627339. All bookings are on first come first served basis and upon payment for your place which I'll acknowledge following direct transfer of funds to my business account. I will provide this once you enquire.

I hope to see you at one or other of the workshops. I may add another date if there is demand, so please ask. At the time of this note, there are 5 spaces remaining on 6th December, with all spaces available for 22 November.

For information, Brinscall Hall is a safe place; it is a beautiful old house surrounded by gardens that I've come to adore. There is sufficient free parking, and a warm welcome always awaits.

My best wishes

Tracey
