November news

Updated: Nov 9, 2020

Well, here we are, facing a month in further lockdown, given the Government's news last evening. We were (and ARE) wreath ready, but, for the moment, our seasonal wreath workshops will not take place until the lockdown is lifted and our beautiful venue at Samlesbury Hall re-opens. These gorgeous dried hydrangeas will still be put to good use.

All workshop participants have been contacted by email (please check your Junk folders), and I will stay in touch with them. If that's YOU, please know that I'm thinking of you, and hope to be able to safely spend some time with you once lockdown is lifted, making seasonal wreaths to decorate your door. We all need something to look forward to and there's nothing like the company of like minded, creative women, crafting something beautiful to lift our spirits.

We will need to reschedule the 1 and 2 December dates, and I am in touch with Samlesbury Hall to move them outside of lockdown. Please check your emails provided via Eventbrite, as I will contact you to update you once new dates are agreed.

I'm surrounded by all the scents of the season. The scented candles are here, and the fragrance of warm gingerbread and Christmas spice is filling the room as I write this. My wreath making is continuing; the spruce is here, and I have fir cones and rose hips aplenty. If you've ordered a seasonally festive wreath from me, rest assured they will be delivered contact free.

Let us hope for glad tidings when lockdown 2 is over, and we can then find some comfort and joy in our creativity, safely.

My warmest wishes to you all
