Hello to all and welcome

I'm sending this quiet invitation to you to join me for a living wreath workshop in honour of Spring on Sunday 29th March 2026. It will take place in Hoddlesden, Darwen at the home of the Chef Maria Grieco @dinneratmarias BB3 3LN in her private dining space.

In shifting into this new season, we’ll balance the often disrupting effects of our western hour advance (our clocks go forward on the evening before) with the incoming vibrant energy of the Chinese year of the horse from February.

In creative flow, we’ll reconnect to our natural rhythm by combining the wood element of our wreath base with seasonal herbs, Spring bulbs and small branches; everything in its natural season to keep us steady and root us to the moment.

We begin our workshop at 11.00am with appetising treats from Maria, and afterwards enjoy a wood fired lunch to see out the last of the winter chill, nourish our liver and gall bladder, and allow the gentle warmth of Spring to warm our hearts and bones.

The cost is £70 per person to include all materials, all food and drinks, and seeds to sow in Spring as symbols of hope, renewal and growth. You can either pay the full amount now to secure your space, or a none refundable half payment of £35 with the balance falling due two weeks beforehand.

To reserve your place, please email me at contactme@themindfulseasonalist.com where bank details for payment will be provided for you together with the full address of our workshop space. You're welcome to call me if you have any questions prior to booking on 07973 627339.

I'm delighted to be collaborating with Maria again, and we hope to see both new and old workshop friends if this is something you might like.

NB: Places are limited to 8.

This workshop is for adults only, but suitable for beginners as well as those with some creative experience.

Please advise of food intolerances at the time of booking.

Sadly, no refunds can be given due to our investment in materials but I'm hopeful that you'll understand why this has to be so. If you're unable to attend, please be intouch and you will be able to send someone else in your place.

Finally, the living wreath you create will need your gentle care and attention during Spring to keep it looking its best. Easy care details will be given once we're all together.

I hope you'll join us.

Warmly,

Tracey x
