Summer circles

Another month has rolled over..and round we go again.

I can't believe it. The weather has changed and I have a sense that Autumn is on it's way, perhaps a little too early than we'd like.

This summer seasonal circle was made for someone recovering from Covid. Part living, part dried, it contained herbs and plants known for their medicinal properties; Sage, Lavender (for it's relaxing scent, too) and also Honeysuckle for both scent and wellness.

I hid a tiny little Viola within it, just for its pure innocence in a crazy world where we need more wild remedy now than ever before. There was also Waxflower and white Achillia, providing a gorgeous frothy foam that kept it flowing, round and round. White and blue; both calming colours to help recovery.

This month, I'm involved in something really special; a wellness project where gardening and mental health go hand in hand. I'll tell you more in a few days, but there will be more wild remedy on offer for those who seek it, or are prescribed it, and I simply cannot wait to be part of something truly mindful.

Tune in next time.
