Late Summer Workshop

Late summer is a season almost lost to us, but it is well regarded in traditional Chinese culture.
Some of you may know that I'm a huge fan of TCM* and its healing properties, and so, in honour of this late season, just before Autumn, I'm inviting you to join me at Brinscall Hall for a workshop that brings together all that late summer has to offer us.
Sunday 7th September from 1.00pm to 4.00pm, or thereabouts
Late Summer is associated with the Earth element in TCM*. It is a time to focus on grounding and stability for our minds and bodies as we prepare for the Autumn and Winter months to come. We'll start with a short meditation, a grounding execise in awareness and presence, before renewing our connection to the seasonal flowers.
This workshop is a perfect opportunity to create hand tied bouquets as we find our anchor to the present moment and to the Earth element with all that is growing in this season and that, too, also includes us.
We're at the eve of a total full lunar eclipse too, encouraging our intuition to step forward, and that's how we'll flow.
As ever, classes are limited to 6 participants to allow for my fullest attention, and the cost is £65 per person.
All equipment, flowers and foliage are provided, as well as light refreshments to nourish our creativity.
The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those who would like a little more practice.
Nature is our teacher; I simply act as her gentle guide.

Bookings are via direct bank transfer sent to you for confirmation of your reserved space.
Our venue is Brinscall Hall, home to the North West School of Practical Philosophy, Dick Lane, Brinscall PR6 8QL. There is lots of parking available, and the Hall is a beautifully calm space in which to create.
