Autumn leaves and letting go ...

Updated: Aug 7

A new seasonal workshop:

Autumn teaches us so many things ...

It is the season of Rose-hips, mellow fruits, soft abundance in the form of jams and preserves, and the season of letting go.

It also holds the element of metal in Chinese medicine, when the summer's intense Yang energy transforms again into Yin. Yin energy is associated with slowing down, restoration, and ease. It is both nurturing and intuitive. It is inward looking, balancing, and we match its energy by welcoming a return to self care, by letting go, and by softening into our spaces.

I've secured a date of Sunday 8th September from my garden space at Brinscall Hall, home to the NW School of Practical Philosophy and I'd love you to join me.

We'll settle into the art of bouquet making; three ways.

~ We'll spiral our flowers as we circle back to Autumn season,

~ We'll tap into our yin energy by balancing our creative bouquet practice,

~ We'll introduce a 'metal' element by use of an armature to create a more open bouquet style.

This is our opportunity to embrace Autumn elements; letting go of the things that no longer serve us in this season, settling into our intuition, and embracing our inward journey to a more settled, seasonal state.. So, in as much as Autumn in Nature creates change, so too do we seek to mirror it with our bodies, our hearts and minds in order to permit the shift more comfortably..

The cost is £75 for this afternoon of gentle flow which includes:

~ A short guided meditation to soften and ground us

~ A demonstration of three ways of creating a seasonal hand-tied bouquet

~ Your opportunity to find a style of creativity that sits well with you

~ Your time to create your bouquet/s

~ Afternoon refreshments; tea/coffee/cakes

~ All flowers and equipment

The afternoon will run from 1.00pm until around 4.00pm

The space at Brinscall Hall is welcoming, soft and safe.

The gardens are beautiful.

There is space to breathe.

There is ample car parking.

Please note; no refunds can be offered in the event of late cancellation.

The workshop needs a maximum of 4 people to run, and has a limit of 6 people.

It is suitable for any level of experience, either none, limited or otherwise..

I act as a gentle guide to Mother Nature's teaching.

If you have any questions, or wish to book, please message me either through my website or on social media.
