Hello there
I hope you're well.
Spring is now officially with us and there is so much promise in both the gardens and hedgerows. We've enjoyed some warmth, too, over recent days, and there has been a welcome chance to potter around and sow some seeds.
My mind is turning once more to flowers. I hope yours is too, as I have a May offering to share with you.
I'd love you to join me for a celebration of wild rosemary in all her forms.
The date is Sunday, 17th May 2026 at 1.30pm, and we'll be, once again, at Brinscall Hall, PR6 8QL, home to the North West School of Practical Philosophy.
This is the second of my blended workshops (the first was last Spring when we met Bergamot). We’ll create bouquets with seasonal flowers alongside wild rosemary this time; a firm foliage favourite, and we’ll also explore how rosemary essential oil can benefit both our memory and our well being.

Rosemary is a perennial shrub which is well known for her scent, for use with food, and for the therapy she can provide. In the past, 'Rosemary was used symbolically and spiritually for protection and purification, as well as remembrance and good fortune. These days, we can drink rosemary tea to assist our memory, apply rosemary oil to our skin for pain relief, massage into our scalp to promote hair growth, and also breathe in its aroma to aid our concentration. She's incredibly versatile, but often overshadowed by her sister, Lavender, although just as much of a joy to be around.
As well as creating beautiful bouquets you’ll take away a bottle of rosemary oil for your personal use alongside a wild rosemary perennial plant to add to your garden so that the benefits of this delicious herb continue to optimise.your life.

So, that's who she is; wild rosemary.
Do come and get to know her better. She will be your forever friend.
The cost of the workshop is £80 per person. A light afternoon tea is provided after our class. Please advise of any allergies or intolerances when booking.
Classes are limited to 8 adults, and no experience is necessary.
Please note that I'm unable to offer refunds once booked if you later are unable to attend, but there will be the option of sending someone else in your place.
To book, please be in touch by email to contactme@themindfulseasonalist.com
Alternatively you can call/text 07973 627339.
I will send out bank details to you, and payment reserves your space.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
