Hello there
I'm inviting you to join me at Brinscall Hall on Saturday 18th March to celebrate Mother Nature by creating a seasonal Spring bouquet just before Mothers Day (UK).
This day can be hard for some if our mothers are no longer with us, or we don't have children of our own. To my mind, however, we are all mothers of a kind, especially if we grow flowers. We are vital to the sowing of our seeds, the growth of our tender ones, the nurture of our flowering plants, the feeding, the watering, the love….all these things.
We have Mother Nature as our teacher, and on this workshop we will celebrate both Mother Nature and the mother in all of us.
This half day starts at 10.30am with a tour of the garden if weather permits, and then a moment of quiet reflection as we choose the flowers we’ll work with. I’ll talk you through some principles of floral design, and show you how to create a beautiful seasonal bouquet for yourself or to gift to someone you love.
We’ll also enjoy a light vegetarian lunch and refreshments.
The half day ends around 1.30pm. It's an opportunity to enjoy the slowness of creativity with seasonal flowers in lovely surroundings; a morning of calm and sustainable connection with the season. Think of it as a gently paced escape into a peaceful sanctuary, alongside British flowers.
Cost per person - £60.00 and there are 6 spaces to create a held, supportive space.
I’d love to have you with me. Here's the link if you'd like to take a look:
