Wild Meadows, and more workshop dates

There's something light and liberating about wandering in wild flower meadows, trailing hands through the grasses, with a soft breeze for company.

Imagine, then, wandering through the meadows of our imagination, crafting wilder style arrangements in small bowls, and being so engaged in flow that time is forgotten and we cease to be anywhere other than amongst the flowers of the moment. This was my summer alchemy workshop; wild meadow styling back in early July at Brinscall Hall, home to the North West School of Practical Philosophy.

Using a selection of own grown and wild flowers, supplemented with others from flower friends (The Flower Farm Floristry) in Burscough, we drew on our own inner landscape and crafted meadows with wafting stems, and meadow grasses. Gentle guidance only was required to focus endeavour on using the lightest of touches, and being aware of spaciousness in design, and those who joined then wandered their own way through their field of dreams.

It's always such a blessing for me to be in the company of those who connect with me and then with their own intuition in these workshops; women supporting women, finding their own inner light whilst sharing it amongst us all.

This was such a delightful workshop. Thank you so much to those who joined.

I've another date at Brinscall hall on Sunday 7th September; a date to save and savour. We'll be in late summer/early autumn and there will be an opportunity to use what may be the last of the seasonal flowers for the year. Save the date if you'd like to be with me. We'll create more flowery magic with the best of all that Mother Nature provides for us at this time.

I'll advertise in this journal section of my website and on my social media platforms in due course, so do keep a close watch and I'll let you know how to book and when, For later in the year, my wreath workshops for winter season at Brinscall Hall will take place on Saturday 22 November and 6 December.I;ll also advertise those in good time.
