I'm delighted to tell you that seasonal wreath workshops are now available to book.
I'm inviting you to find 'comfort and joy' with me this year in the Chapel of the stunning, medieval home of Samlesbury Hall as, together, we create seasonal wreaths in preparation for the festive season. Guided by me, you'll design your own bespoke door wreath using seasonal, natural foliage.
We'll relax over a glass of mulled wine or tea/coffee and warm mince pies on arrival, before spending approximately two hours surrounded by all that nature provides in wonderful surroundings. You'll leave with a wreath for your door that will last for many weeks, even after the season has ended.
You'll also take away a luxury CocoSoy scented candle by Ethel & Co, evocative of seasonal spices; amber, cinnamon, and ginger, in eco-friendly minimalist packaging, to give a warm and comforting glow to your festive home.
Cost per person - £65.00 (includes ticketing fee)
Once the workshop has ended, you may like to enjoy a seasonal lunch in The Heritage Cafe (£21) or head to Dottie's Wafflery for some truly glorious waffles. Pre-booking for both is recommended via Samlesbury Hall (https://www.samlesburyhall.co.uk/food-drink/restaurant), but you can also book on the day whilst you're with us.
Additionally, you are free to take a stroll around the house and gardens, where entry is free, and where you can delve into the history of this beautiful stately home. Car parking is also free.
In respect of the workshops, please note:
- All wreathmaking equipment is provided
- It can be a little messy! Please bring an apron if you wish to save your clothes from moss
- Wear warm clothes as the Chapel may be cool; layers are perfect.
Please DO NOT attend if you have symptoms of a cold or flu, or symptoms of Coronavirus. Cancellations will be accommodated for reasons of illness, and full refunds issued up to 48 hours before the event, OR if the workshop space can be filled in your absence.
We continue to live with Coronavirus in our society. Numbers will be limited to 6 per session alongside me, to allow for safe social distancing.
There are 4 dates to chose from. Workshops are for adults only.
